Melissa Peterman played “Barbara Jean” on the show Reba and is the host of CMT’s The Singing Bee. We first met Melissa when she called in to talk about her CMT Comedy Special and upcoming album.
The first time Scotty saw a picture of Melissa, he made the mistake of telling me that he thought she had the most beautiful blue eyes he’d ever seen. So, when I got the chance to meet up with Melissa while she was in Kansas City for the George Strait & Reba concert, I did what any good friend would do… I asked her to fake a date with Scotty through a picture on my iPhone.
