Melissa Chambers - So I haven’t gone hunting this year but I do have a story! Probably about five years ago I decided I wanted my father to take me hunting so he decided he would. We went out and got practice shooting the gun and the day finally came. We had to wake up early, it was freezing cold and the rules were I had to be quiet! After sitting there for what seemed like hours the biggest buck popped over the fence standing broad side right in front of me. My dad gave me a little nudge so I get my gun and I’m ready to bag me a big one. Only one problem, I was so nervous that I couldn’t pull the trigger! We didn’t end up killing the deer but my dad has since passed on and will be a great funny memory I will have forever. I received so much grief about not being able to get the gun off SAFETY! Heidi Brewer - I thought you might like to hear this, I got my first Buck and it was a big ten point, but the crazy thing is I got with my Ford Taurus yesterday on the way to work, Just leaving Fayette, Missouri.
Morgan Lynn - Well, ma’am and sir, I’m Morgan Lynn. I’m 15 and have been wanting to huntin’ since I was nine. Neither parents hunt. A guy from church took me for the first time two Sundays ago. We didn’t see anything. So I finally just bought myself a blind and my orange, borrowed a 2′23 and went hunting on my own land for the second and third time. Ain’t seen anything yet, but I’m going tomorrow morning to see if I can! If I get anything, it will be my first deer (don’t care if its a doe or a buck- prefer a buck, but who doesnt) I’ll be darned sure to email you pics!
