Billy Currington was recently on Late Night with David Letterman to sing “People Are Crazy“, and Dave gushed about how much he loved the song, he just went on and on.
In fact he went on so much that it seemed like he was probably kidding. Dave doesn’t have a lot of Country acts on his show, and has been known to poke fun at artists and songs in the past, and he is a smart aleck so we thought he was just making fun of the song.
But he’s not mean-spirited, and we don’t think he would be making fun of it when the guy is there that night to sing it. We’re guessin’ that he does like the song, but was going overboard for comedy’s sake.
And it is funny, and interesting to hear the song with a choir in the background. Watch it and see what you think…
