Scottie & Carissa: Our social studies teached was talking about the Hati disaster. She was pondering the thought of our small school having a fundraiser to make money to send. Within 30 minutes, she had collected almost $50.00. We are a small school of 53, 53 not 153 or 253. Soooo, they have devised a plan to collect $500.00 by next Friday-Jan 29. We have a local business that will match the $500, but by next Friday. We pay to wear Pj’s, hats, have soda/water and snacks at our desks-Staff can pay to wear jeans, Pj’s, etc. We truly live in a wonderful community and country.

Scottie & Carissa:Just an update. Friday’s grand total was over $2,000.00 and our Student Council will add the $500.00 and a couple of local country churches are contemplating adding to the total that we raised. I never ceased to be amazed what can be done, if you try!
