Being thankful is one of those things that seems so simple, so why don’t we do it/be it more often?
I’m making a list that I’m sure won’t include everything. I’m thankful…
-For wonderful, loving, supportive parents that never asked “So when will you get a real job?”
-For older brothers that didn’t pick on me much. I don’t know if the fact that I was bigger than them by 6th grade had anything to do with it
-For a company that has let me hang around for over 20 years now
-For the Charlie Brown Holiday trifecta
-For the 3 differently amazing morning show partners that I have been blessed with in Columbia. I never had sisters but I love all of my “C-A-R’s”
-For the Grace of God. I don’t always understand it but that’s why I keep reading
-For Jerry Seinfeld
-For a building full of people at work whose job it is to make me look good
-For Bing Crosby & Perry Como
-For the wonderful side job with Missouri Sports Properties that allows me to get paid to watch college football in locations that I would otherwise never see
-For friends that worry about me
-For people with nothing better to do than listen to/read the self-absorbed silly things I have to say each day
