My favorite George Memory is the year 1994, I had been married for two years now and had my first baby. My husband and I had been fight over all kinds of little stuff all day long. It finally got to the point, I told him to leave and I never wanted to see him again. I was a Drama Queen in those years. LOL Well I went to the bedroom with my baby after he left and was crying. I had the radio on and “If I know me”, came on I was lying there listening to it for awhile and I heard the car come back. The front door opened and there was my husband. He said he was sorry and I sad I was sorry, and we started to laugh. He said he just heard the George Strait song, and I told him I was listening to it too. We just hugged and forgot all about the fight.
There are so many George Strait memories in my life, I think all of his songs could trigger a memory. Because I would play his music on a daily bases. I could have put holes in his CD’s if that was possible. I just love the man. I think he is the best thing that has ever happened to country music. Yes, everyday of my life has a George Strait memory attached. Please send me! I will cherish it for the rest of my life. Also it is my Nineteenth wedding Anniversary this month and it would be the best gift ever. Please, I love George so much!

The memory I have of George is when my wife gave me a daughter in 1993. My child’s eyes were the brightest blue. So I would sing her the song “Baby Blue”. I just love that song. She would be crying and I would sing that song and she would go straight to sleep. George Strait songs are the best songs to sing when you have a upset baby. Please pick me, I want to see the legend in concert. All three of them are great but George is the King of Country.

I saw George Strait back in the 80s at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. Loved him then and still love him now. Many singers have come & gone since then, but George is still number one with me. I have a pic taken with a lifesize cutout of him that looks pretty real, probably as close as I’ll ever get. I like the fact that he is a genuine cowboy and would also like to attend his roping classic in Texas sometime.

I saw George for the first time in 1985 in KC. He was the opening act for Ricky Scaggs and Hank Williams Jr. Had a wonderful time and have seen him a few times since. I still have a keychain with his picture from that concert. I have never seen Reba but would love to see her also., Hope I can win some tickets.

Growing up as a kid I never really knew George Strait till I saw Pure Country for the first time, from then on I wanted to be just like him wearing wranglers boots and playing a guitar. To be able to see him and Reba in concert would be a dream come true

My favorite memory of Reba McEntire was the year 1999. My sister was pregnant with her 3rd child. She was due Aug-Sept. Reba was at the State Fair in Sedalia. I had won tickets from Clear 99. I told my sister she could not go as I didn’t want to be in the middle of my REBA concert and have to leave cause she had to have the baby at that time. I took my daughter and 2 other friends. We had a blast!! It was awesome to see Reba in concert. Afterwards, I felt bad as my sister didn’t have her baby til Sept 99.

I have never seen George Strait. Many years ago he was at the State fair and my mom had mentioned she would love to see him. Right after that comment, he stopped going to the State fair and started doing his festivals. It would be cool to get tickets so Mom could now see George.

So many favorite songs of both: Reba – Is There Life Out There. George – Check Yes or No.

My wife and I will be married 20 yrs. This week.. We have never been to a live concert. We both lost good paying jobs 2 yrs. ago and have taken lower paying jobs to keep things going. We both work hard to provide for our 3 kids and keep a positive attitude. We would like to have at least one night to go somewhere and enjoy ourselves. A night for the 2 of use and a chance to meet Reba McEntire and George Strait.
