A 26-episode series of the Looney Tunes, premiering on Cartoon Network in the fall, will feature five to six minute shorts featuring all the original characters – including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Marvin the Martian, etc. – and intercut with “Merry Melodies” and two minute Road Runner chases!

The studio will also release its first 3D short film entitled “Coyote Falls,” which will feature the classic characters Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, and will be attached to prints of the summer film Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, due in theaters on July 30.

No pressure or anything, but people are calling Jerrod Niemann the next big thing in country music.

Now I’m not saying that I don’t enjoy American Idol because I do.  I’m just saying that I don’t get excited about Tuesday nights like I used too. 

So as I sat watching the crazy guy from Atlanta singing about “Pants On The Ground” (which is hilarious) I decided I needed a way to spice up my watching experiance. 

Now, as I mentioned before, the show has become somewhat predictable.  We almost always know there’s going to be a “few” goofy characters during the auditions, there will always be very talented, young people pouring their hearts out to the world and there will always be the constant bickering between the judges.  

The predictable responses and bickering from the judges is what leads me to a way to enhance the AI viewing experiance… Drinking!  Now I’m not going to suggest drinking alcohol since it is a Tuesday and let’s face it… drinking on a Tuesday makes for a long week. 

The “Official American Idol Drinking Game” rules:  (Can be used when playing alone or with a group of players)

Drink everytime Randy says “Dawg” “Dude” or “Man…drink twice if he says it to a woman.

Drink whenever Simon uses the title of the song as part of his insult.

Drink everytime Simon says “this is a SINGING competition”

Drink everytime Kara is hot and bothered by a hot male contestant. Drink twice if he sings directly to her.

Drink everytime someone tells Simon “Well, that’s just YOUR opinion!”

Drink everytime a contestant says “I’m the next American Idol.”

Rules For Group Play Only:

Rule 1: Anytime Randy says “dog” you have to put your thumb on your head. The last person to do so has to take a drink.

Rule 2: Everytime Simon says “Horrible” or any variation of the word (i.e. horrific, horrendous, etc) it is a social and everyone has to drink.

Rule 3: Everytime someone takes a sip out of a cup, the first person to yell “cup” gets to make whoever they want drink.

Rule 4: When you see a person featured (someone that is about to go before the judges), you pause the show.  At this point (starting with one player and working around the room), you choose whether or not the person will make it to Hollywood.

If you are correct, you are safe and don’t have to drink. If you are wrong, you have to drink with the other losers who also guessed wrong!

Rule 5: When a person is featured and after you decide whether or not they make it to Hollywood, you get to pick an artist you think they will sing. If they sing that artist, then everyone else in the room has to finish their beer (no matter how much is left) and you get to gloat in all your fantastic glory.

I now realize I still have a ways to go before I’m an official addict!

A Maryland groom has created a viral storm after he interrupted his wedding last month to update his Facebook and Twitter accounts from the altar.

Dana Hanna, who works for a pet Web site, also posted a short video of the ceremony on the Internet. It showed him reaching into his pocket for his phone as the minister was about to pronounce the couple husband and wife.

The video has had more than 350,000 views.

George isn’t really known for his songwritting, but Bubba and him do a heck of job on this one.  Great Song.  Great Video.

I’ve made it no secret that Brad Paisley is my Favorite country musician, but the first few times I heard his new release “Welcome To The Future” it didn’t grab me like most of his songs do. 

Then, I heard it while driving home the other night and it floored me.  I guess I needed to be on the outside looking in to really get how well though out of a song it is.

If you’re not familiar with the Trailor Choir, then here’s a little history about the group:

Trailer Choir was founded in 2006 by Vinny Hickerson, Crystal Hoyt and Mark Fortney, who are respectively known as Big Vinny, Crystal and Butter. The trio signed to Show Dog Nashville, a label owned by Toby Keith, in 2008.

They certainly wouldn’t be considered traditional country, but their song “Rockin The Beer Gut” is just a fun little song to sing along too.  Its quickly become the most requested song here at Clear 99. 

Big Vinny, who lives up to the name, has been putting together a series of dance instruction videos called “Big Vinny’s Sexy Dance Machine.”  It’s hilarious.

If you have an extra five minutes or maybe just looking to waste some time at work, I promise you’ll get a few laughs out of these videos.
