Clear 99 Invites You to the 2010 Easter Seals Wing Ding

Attention chicken wing lovers! It’s officially time to loosen your belt a notch or two because this August 10th, the UCP Easter Seals presents the 22nd Annual Wing Ding Festival.

Local Columbia restaurants will compete in categories like tastiest, best seasoned, and meatiest wings. They’ll also compete for the People’s Choice Award and other categories. Local celebrities (including Clear 99’s Carissa) will judge the wings as entries compete for trophies and braggin’ rights.

The Wing Ding festival starts at 5pm on Tuesday, August 4th at the Columbia Executive Center at the Holiday Inn Select. Proceeds benenfit UCP Easter Seals Heartland’s Columbia Child Development Center for children with special needs and disabilities.

We’re throwing you a party at DeJa Vu Comedy Club with comedian Pete Lee on Saturday, July 31st!

Pete was the winner of the 2010 CMT reality contest The Next Big Comic! In 2008, he was a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and has been seen on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and Comedy Central Presents.

AND Pete will be the headlining comedian at Clear 99’s Listener Appreciation Party! Feature comic Dave Waite will start off the show at 8pm and Pete will wrap things up around 9:30pm.
