Big? Well, uh… not quite, but he is at least 3.5 years old (I have him on camera the past 3 years with that same “acorn” G2). After passing on 5 promising bucks this bow season, as soon as I saw this “Acorn Buck” I had to take him… He’s not good genetically and he’s legal-plus he’s my first buck I’ve harvested with a bow! (8 does, but no bucks until this one!) My wife wouldn’t take my picture with him (she, like most hunter’s wives, thinks I’m crazy), so I took a picture of him with my 10-year-old hunting buddy and son, Alex. At least he was proud of my harvest! He LOVES deer snack sticks and jerky!! ENJOY!
