Ouch. Brad Paisley took a nasty fall, while playing guitar, as he ran across the stage at the finale of his American Saturday Night tour in Charleston, S.C.
Despite the nasty spill, he popped back up quickly, although he seemed disoriented. Brad quickly took his guitar off and then said goodnight to the crowd.
Fortunately, it was the end of the show, but Brad actually felt like he had hurt a rib, so he was taken by ambulance to the hospital immediately after the show.
Brad also eased his fans’ concerns by twittering updates. He wrote, “Just very, very bruised. Nothing broken, had a CT scan, all is okay! (Whoever) posts the YouTube footage of it gets a meet and greet. I have got to see it. I hit hard. And I mean freaking hard.”
Wife Kimberly Williams Paisley, worried about her husband, wrote on her Twitter page, “Praying for my husband tonight. Hope he didn’t hurt himself too badly. I love that clumsy clown.” Once she knew he was going to be okay, Kim asked if anyone had a video of the fall.
Brad even promised that he would give meet and greet passes to whoever posted a YouTube video of him taking a nasty spill. And he came through. Some guy named Justin Vaughn posted the details on his website.
Justin wrote, “I could not believe it. Kimberly Williams-Paisley actually responded to me.”
“I (also) got a call from Brad’s team and the Meet and Greet is official. The call was very cool and his staff was incredibly nice. As exciting as this is . . . nothing excites me more than the opportunity to finally meet my country music hero, Brad Paisley!”
You have a “Brad Paisley” (an embarrassing fall story)? Please do tell….

Dana
I was at a casino buffet in St. Charles, MO. I had just finished filling my plate and was walking back to my table when I slipped and fell foward, pretty much flat on my face. My plate broke, food everywhere, including all over me (we were headed to a concert afterwards so I wiped up as best I could and hoped I didnt smell like cocktail sauce!). I had some cuts on my hands so after I got back to my table they called the paramedic guys over in all their gear and bags to put bandaids on my hands. It was really embarrassing! I was very lucky that my date didn’t ditch me then and there – we got a big laugh out of it.
