Ryan went hunting opening day of youth deer season with his dad and older brother Andrew. After waiting all day and not seeing anything, they decided to leave their hunting spot early that afternoon. As they were walking out, Dad spotted this buck. Since Andrew got a nice 16 pt a couple of years ago, he thought it would be nice if
Ryan had a chance. As they pursued the big buck and got with a shooting distance, Ryan raised his 22-250 rifle and could only see the buck’s head. So he shot and hit him first in the nose. He had to shoot him again, but when they got to the buck, Ryan was sure glad he didn’t get away. This is his biggest buck ever; actually last year was his first year hunting and he got a spike buck. This buck has 13 Points; and possibly a candidate for Missouri Big Bucks. Ryan is 10 years old from Jamestown, Missouri. He was hunting on a farm near Jamestown.
